2015 College Scholarships for High School Seniors

MMRB&H is proud to announce the funding of (9) nine scholarships for the 2015-2016 school year. Congratulations to the following recipients that were awarded a scholarship:

• Macy Ceasar, Eunice – Major: Pre-Vet, LSUE
• Megan Stelly, Arnaudville – Major: Secondary Math Education
• Ashley Kelly, Opelousas – Major: Radiology Technology, LSUE
• Kandice Kidd, Opelousas – Major: Nursing, ULL
• Cicely Dupre, Port Barre – Major: Animal Science – Pre-Vet, LSU, B.R.
• Hunter Fontenot, Opelousas – Major: Speech Pathology, ULL
• Seth Richard, Church Point – Major: Biology – Pre-med, LSU, B.R.
• Nathan Fontenot, Ville Platte – Major: Kinesiology for Physical Therapy, LSU, B.R.
• Amy Simoneaux, Washington – Major: Dentistry, LSU Dental School

The MMRB&H scholarships were awarded based on academic background, maturity of the applicant, financial need, community involvement, the availability of resources, funding and the applicants’ chosen career fields. Recipients are permanent residents of St. Landry or Evangeline Parish. These nine scholarships were awarded as a one-time award of $2,500 for this coming school year. Scholarship funds are paid directly to the educational institution that the applicant will be attending. Recipients are attending an educational institution/college in the state of Louisiana and can apply during any portion of their educational career (i.e., undergraduate, graduate, professional school, etc.). MMRB&H encourages any applicant to apply again next school year.
